Devices operating on gaseous fuels in "normal operation" are subject to the Technical regulation of devices operating on gaseous fuels, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on July 4, 2018 № 814.
The technical regulation is harmonized with the REGULATION (EU) 2016/426 of 9 March 2016.
These devices include: household gas stoves, household gas cooktops, gas boilers for use in heating homes, apartments, etc. Such devices must be regularly serviced in accordance with the procedures described in the operating manuals provided by the manufacturer.
This technical regulation does not apply to: gas appliances or equipment intended for use in industrial conditions and specially designed for this purpose, gas equipment in marine, railway and other modes of transport, as well as in testing laboratories.
