How much does certification cost in Ukraine?

The cost of conformity assessment work to the requirements of the Technical Regulations of Ukraine may have a number of components, which are determined based on the specific technical regulations and selected by the Customer (manufacturer or its authorized representative) conformity assessment module.

The main components of the cost of work:

  • the cost of product testing by an accredited laboratory for compliance with the standards recommended for a particular technical regulation;
  • the cost of work of the certification body, accredited by the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine and authorized by the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine in accordance with specific technical regulations and the chosen module of conformity assessment (module B, module F, module G);
  • cost of works of certification body, which is accredited by National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine on certification or evaluation * of quality management system, developed and implemented at the manufacturer (* provided that for non-resident manufacturer quality management system has already been certified by national or international certification body). The work is carried out using modules D or H;
  • the cost of consulting services UCPS, LLC (formed on a contractual basis).

It should be noted that the same products may be subject to several technical regulations. At the same time, there may be a situation that different certification bodies will have to be involved in various technical regulations.

The use of modules D or H provides for mandatory audits at the production site, which is associated with the cost of the audit (tickets, hotel costs, per diem auditors, etc.).

Thus, the total cost of work is formed depending on the list of technical regulations, which fall under the scope of a particular product and the selected module of conformity assessment from the list established by each technical regulation.
