Machines

The term "machine" is defined in Article 2 of the technical regulation on safety of machines, зapproved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on January 30, 2013 № 62.

Article 4 of this technical regulation lists equipment that is not subject to conformity assessment of this regulation.

Machine conformity assessment procedures are divided into:

• The procedure of internal control in the production of machines, i.e. module A is used;
• Procedure of type verification, i.e. module B is used. Another module that can be used with module B is necessarily used (see the website page on conformity assessment modules);
• Full quality assurance procedure.

Annex 9 to this technical regulation contains a list of machines to which the procedure of conformity of type examination or the procedure of conformity of full quality assurance applies.

The following machines are subject to the procedure of conformity assessment of internal control in the production of machines.

The formation of a technical file is a compulsory while assessing compliance with technical regulations on the safety of machines.

Annex 12 to the technical regulation contains the requirements for the technical file for machines.

Annex 13 contains the requirements for the technical file for an incomplete machine.
