The list of measuring instruments intended for use in the legally regulated part of metrology is given in Annex 1 of the Technical Regulations of legally regulated measuring instruments, approved by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from It should be noted that in the EU there is no Directive or Regulation with which this technical regulation is harmonized. In the EU there is Directive 2014/32/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of February 26, 2014 on the harmonization of the legislation of the Member States on the provision of measuring instruments on the market, but in Ukraine there is another technical regulation on measuring instruments, which is harmonized with this Directive.
Unlike other technical regulations in which conformity assessment is spelled out so that the manufacturer or his authorized person may choose conformity assessment modules at his discretion, in this technical regulation for each position of measuring instruments in Annex 1 it is already established what conformity assessment modules can be used for a particular position.
It should also be noted that the measuring instruments listed in Annex 1 to the technical regulations do not fully define the whole range of such measuring instruments falling under the technical regulations. For a more correct definition of such means it is necessary to use the provisions defined in the Law of Ukraine "On Metrology and Metrological Activity"".
