Procedures for conformity assessment of technical regulations that are harmonized with those European Union directives and regulations that do not belong to the New Approach directives are defined in each of these technical regulations.
For example, in a technical regulation on medical devices the conformity assessment is carried out according to an annex or a combination of annexes given in the technical regulation itself.
In the technical regulations concerning the energy labeling of the relevant products, certain indicators and methods of their assessment or calculation are given. The established forms of such labeling are also provided.
Among other technical regulations, there are those that have no analogues of directives or regulations in the European Union, but are normative legal documents of Ukraine only. Conformity assessment in this case is carried out according to the modular principle or separately prescribed in the technical regulations.
